Description: Mua Gas Consumption was a mechanical consulting assignment for AKB for a building project in the project site. The work focused on turning available project information into a clear, coordinated engineering deliverable that could support review, permitting, construction, or closeout needs.
Problem/Objective: Estimate annual natural-gas consumption for the 40,000 CFM direct-fired make-up air unit at 10707 50 Street SE using source climate and gas-energy assumptions.
Method/Process: MNA reviewed the mechanical/HVAC or equipment information for Mua Gas Consumption, checked the documented assumptions and calculations, and prepared the engineering response around the confirmed project scope.
Result/Impact: Produced a budgeting-level gas-consumption estimate for the make-up air unit, documenting approximate annual usage and cost ranges for facility planning.
Reflection: MNA learned from Mua Gas Consumption that mechanical consulting works best when equipment capacity, ventilation paths, and site constraints are reconciled early; that upfront coordination makes the final design easier to permit, build, and maintain.
