Description: Jerusalem Shawarma Country Hills was a code and life-safety consulting assignment for APX for a restaurant tenant at Country Hills Landing in Calgary. The work focused on turning available project information into a clear, coordinated engineering deliverable that could support review, permitting, construction, or closeout needs.
Problem/Objective: The project required practical engineering support for a group a, division 2 restaurant occupancy while keeping the scope aligned with the available drawings, site information, and code or authority requirements.
Method/Process: MNA reviewed the project documents, identified the applicable service scope, coordinated the relevant discipline inputs, and prepared the deliverable around the confirmed building use, location, and project constraints.
Result/Impact: Completed third-party design compliance review so the project team had an independent engineering basis for permit, authority, or closeout decisions.
Reflection: MNA learned from Jerusalem Shawarma Country Hills that restaurant tenant work benefits from early checks on occupant load, device coverage, and inspection-ready documentation; the project reinforced the value of turning limited source information into clear decisions, coordinated documentation, and practical next steps for the client.
