Problem/Objective: The project required practical engineering support for a building project while keeping the scope aligned with the available drawings, site information, and code or authority requirements.
Method/Process: MNA reviewed the project documents, identified the applicable service scope, coordinated the relevant discipline inputs, and prepared the deliverable around the confirmed building use, location, and project constraints.
Result/Impact: Confirmed the suppression-system scope was reviewed and documented so the restaurant, commercial kitchen, or facility could proceed with the required life-safety record.
Reflection: MNA learned from Mount Royal University that even small scopes benefit from making assumptions, site constraints, and compliance evidence explicit; the project reinforced the value of turning limited source information into clear decisions, coordinated documentation, and practical next steps for the client.
